Due to upgrade works on our network infrastructure, the ~okeanos-global service will be disrupted between 10:00 EEST and 12:00 EEST on Wednesday, September 5.

During the upgrade, all running archipelago VMs will be temporarily shut down and automatically restarted afterwards. Your standard storage (drbd) VMs and your Pithos+ files should remain unaffected. The Cyclades and Pithos+ Web UI and APIs will also be inaccessible in the above timeframe.

Keep in mind that you should restart any running services that won't start automatically after a reboot.

Early this month, security researchers reported two critical vulnerabilities: Spectre and Meltdown. These vulnerabilities allow attackers to access sensitive information (such as passwords), due to a design flaw, which affects Intel, ARM and some AMD processors.
